How can I get to the hotel by public transport?

Getting to the hotel from the Václav Havel International Airport

At the airport, take the bus line 100 to the Zličín metro station (yellow line B). From there, take the metro in the Černý Most direction and get off at Karlovo náměstí. Hotel Praga 1 is in the Žitná street.


Hotel Praga 1 is about 45 minutes from the airport by public transport. Buy the 90-minute ticket. 


Getting to the hotel from the central train station (Hlavní nádraží)

Take the metro from the Hlavní nádraží station to the Florenc transfer station (direction Letňany). Transfer to the yellow line B and go to Karlovo náměstí (direction Zličín). Hotel Praga 1 is in the Žitná street. 

Hotel Praga 1 is about 20 minutes from the central train station by public transport. Buy the 30-minute ticket.  


Is smoking allowed in the hotel?

No, Hotel Praga 1 is strictly non-smoking.

Can I come by car?

Where is the nearest ATM located?

If you are looking for a specific bank‘s ATM, the reception will be happy to advise you. Do not hesitate to ask. 

Is the hotel area barrier-free?

Unfortunately, Hotel Praga 1 does not offer barrier-free rooms. 

Can I take my pet to the hotel with me?

All rooms at Hotel Praga 1 are hypoallergenic, and therefore pets are not allowed to stay. 

I‘m allergic. Are the rooms suitable for me?

Yes, they are. Accommodation at Hotel Praga 1 is suitable for guests allergic to dust, mites, pollen, feathers or animal fur. The rooms are fitted with high-quality Italian tiles instead of carpets. 

I am vegetarian, are there food options for me?

Of course, every day from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. you can enjoy a breakfast buffet which is included in the price of the accommodation. Vegetarians will be happy with the menu too. We will happily prepare gluten-free food as well. 

Is there a lobby bar at the hotel?

The lobby bar is on the ground floor of the hotel and is open 24/7 for our guests. Enjoy a coffee, a wine or delicious Czech beer. Have a seat and rest after your walk around Prague or when waiting for your transfer. We are looking forward to your visit. 

Can I buy public transport tickets at the hotel?

The reception will be happy to advise you on purchasing the tickets. All tickets are transfer tickets and can be used on the bus, tram and metro. 


Prague public transport offers the following time tickets: 30 minutes, 90 minutes, 24 hours, 72 hours. The cable car Petřín has special non-transfer tickets which can be purchased in vending machines at the cable car stop.
